Hall of Mirrors came by for an in-studio session on the show Alternative to What?!?. The band is a bedroom “electro-cello-pop” project started in a home studio by singer-songwriter and Boston University sophomore Marco Lawrence in Fall 2012. The group, which consists of Lawrence and cellist Jenna Calabro, combines the upbeat kick of electronic dance music with the more somber and emotional sound of string-driven acoustic music. They’re recently recorded an EP, titled “Begin,” and have released it on Bandcamp.
