By Nick Gagalis Manchester, N.H. - Entering Saturday’s game, the Boston University Terriers (32-6-4) were undefeated when second line center Nick Bonino scored a point. Bonino scored early, and BU earned an 8-3 victory over Ohio State (23-15-4). Boston University was the only first seed in the tourney to make it to round two. |

By Brian Levine Kieran Millan made 32 saves, Brandon Yip scored late in the first period, and that was all the Boston University Terriers needed to win the Hockey East Championship, beating the UMass-Lowell Riverhawks, 1-0. The Terriers continued their season-long success, improving to 31-6-4 on the season. Boston University is 19-2-3 in the calendar year. The win also continued BU’s impressive play away from their home ice, making them 13-0-2 in their last 15 games away from Agganis Arena. |
