Come one, come all! WTBU and the Women's Resource Center at BU are teaming up to host Open Mic Night on this Thursday, November 19 at 7 p.m.
All artists are welcome. Sing a song, read your poetry, do magic?... Just do it up right! If you would like to perform, please give a shout on the Facebook event wall, send us a message, or sign up at 6:50 p.m. before the show begins.
The evening will take place at the WRC, in the basement of the GSU (775 Comm Ave) and will be hosted by WTBU's/WRC's own Jessy Bartlett!
ALL are welcome in this comfy space and we hope to see you there for a great night of music and fun! |

The Men's & Women's Basketball are kicking off their seasons on NESN and need YOUR support!
The Men's Home Opener against George Washington will be at 7PM on Tuesday November 17th in Agganis Arena. A Pre-Game Party hosted by WTBU will begin at 5:30 in a special room in Agganis. The first 2,000 Terrier Fans to the game will receive a free BU knit cap.
The Pre-Game Party is FREE to the first 900 students and will feature pizza, soda, rediculous prizes like autographed BU Basketball and Hockey gear, Weezer tickets, iPhones, iPods, and CA$H! Dean Elmore will also be hosting a Knockout game at halftime with a $1,000 cash prize!
Enter the Arena at the Feld Entrance on Agganis Way. This event will fill up so get there early!
The Womem's Home Opener vs. Rhode Island will then take place at 7PM on Wednesday November 18th in the Case Gym. The first 200 student in attendance will receive a coupon for a free load of laundry from lazy bones.
These are two games you don't want to miss, so pick up your wristbands now! GO TERRIERS!!! |

WTBU is holding a bake sale in the COM lounge from 10am to 1pm most Fridays in November. Come visit and grab a snack before/after/during class (we encourage pretending to excuse yourself to go to the restroom, but really joining us for cookies!) Don't forget to bring your professor and classmates all a snack too, it's not fair to let them go hungry when you are so enthusiastically enjoying your Friday treat. |

This time it will be hosted by WTBU and the Howard Thurman Center, BU's cultural center!
We’re calling all poets, comedians, musicians, singers, rappers and other artists to the stage. And remember, this is meant to be a fun community event, so amateurs are welcome!
